Manufacturing home appliances is a big industry. These devices are designed to make everyday chores and activities as easy as possible. Most of these items are focused on kitchen activities, but there are appliances for nearly every room in the house.

Washers and dryers are generally considered the most popular home appliances outside of the kitchen. Modern technology has made these items, washers especially, much more environmentally sound by using less water and electricity. Some dryer manufacturers have begun installing sensors to monitor the heat needed for drying, which in turn reduces their energy consumption.

Other popular home appliances include vacuums and air purifiers. Vacuum technology has improved greatly over the last few decades, allowing theses items to be much more powerful and efficient. Air purifiers are commonly used to reduce the amount of dust and other particulates from the air in the home.
