Appliances

Appliances are omnipresent in the average American home. Many common items like refrigerators, cooking ranges, and dishwashers have been seen in homes for decades. As technology has advanced, so have the capabilities and efficiency of these items.

Many of today’s appliances are designed to be much more ecologically friendly. Modern washers use much less water than those of the past. Today’s refrigerators also use much less electricity than older models.

Appliances like air conditioners and space heaters are becoming more common in today’s homes. These items can help make a home much more comfortable during inclement weather. Small items like these are often the least expensive appliances as well.
